Cipro
(ciprofloxacin)Use to relieve:
- Typhoid Fever: 500 mg taken orally twice daily for seven days.
- Traveler’s Diarrhea: 500 mg twice daily for three to five days.
- Urinary Tract Infections (uncomplicated): Take 500 mg twice daily for three days.
- Urinary Tract Infections (recurrent): Take 500 mg twice daily for seven to 10 days.
NOT FOR CHILDREN
Side effects and precautions: nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and sensitivity to sunlight. Do not take without consulting a doctor if there is liver, kidney, or seizure disorder. Not to be used in pregnancy (see package insert for complete list of side effects and contraindications).
