Immodium Loperamida
(Loperamide)
Use to relieve:
- Diarrhea, including Traveler’s Diarrhea: Take two capsules (two together for first dose), then one every four to six hours; do not exceed eight per day. If symptoms do not improve within 48 hours, consult a physician.
Children’s use: Not recommended for children under six years.
Side effects and precautions: abdominal pain, distention (swelling), constipation, dry mouth, drowsiness, rash. Discontinue if abdomen begins to swell.
