Lomotil
(diphenoxylate/atropine sulfate)
Use to relieve:
- Diarrhea, including Traveler’s Diarrhea: Take one or two tablets initially, one tablet every six hours as needed. If symptoms do not improve within 48 hours, consult a physician.
Children’s use: Not recommended for children under six years. Children over six years of age, take one tablet every twelve hours, as needed.
Side effects and precautions: abdominal pain, distention, constipation, dry mouth, drowsiness, rash. Discontinue if abdomen begins to swell.
