Pepto-Bismol™
(Bismuth subsalicylate)
Use to relieve:
- Indigestion: Take two tablets or two fluid ounces four times daily.
Children’s use: Not for children under 12 years. For those over 12 years, dosage same as adults.
Side effects and precautions:
- Should be avoided by persons taking Coumadin (Warfarin), Probenecid, or Methotrexate.
- Avoid if pregnant.
- Avoid if allergic to aspirin.
