Crema Sulfadiazina
(Silver Sulfadiazine)
Use to relieve:
- Burns, Wound Infections: Apply topical antimicrobial cream to area to prevent and treat wound infections in patients with 2nd and 3rd degree burns.
Children’s use: Same as adults.
Side effects and precautions: side effects are rare; low white blood cell count and minor skin irritations and rashes have been seen. Not to be used if patient is allergic to sulfa.
