Q: How long ago did you get the treatment?
A: About three months ago.

Q: Why did you want to get this done?
A: I’ve always known that I wanted to do it and my mom just came to me one day and asked if I wanted to go, and I was like yeah sure, so we just planned it and went.

Q: Have you ever thought about going to Mexico to have the Procedure?
A: No, I didn’t really know that they did it there and that it was an option but she found out about it and she researched it and decided it was a really good thing to do so we went that route.

Q: What was the big factor for you guys, why Mexico vs staying close to home?
A: It’s a lot cheaper and the company MedToGo is very reputable and it seemed like a good alternative then coming here and paying so much more for just as good quality over there.

Q: How much cheaper, give me an idea?
A: Probably around three to four thousand cheaper, because I know people who have gotten it here and it’s a lot more.

A: Going over there you hear that it’s bad and everything but it’s really not, it completely fine. There were never moments where I was uncomfortable or scared, the people there are nice and there are people there to help you and the hotel I stayed at had good service and staff, it was a good experience. There were no problems and I enjoyed it.

Q: What city did you go to again, and was it a big hospital?
A: Guadalajara, it was a big hospital a really nice hospital it was new and it was just really good overall, there was nothing bad about it.

Q: And the doctor spoke English?
A: Yeah, he did, very good.

Q: Did you notice as far as other hospitals that you’ve been, were there any big differences in the hospitals and stuff?
A: The only difference is that the staff spoke Spanish but they help you too they try and understand what you are saying and try to help you to the best of their ability, that’s the only difference really. Everything else was the same, they had all the same equipment.

Q: And you thought that everything went just as well as what you would have received here?
A: Yeah, I think it would have been just as smoothly. It wasn’t a hard travel it wasn’t inconvenient or anything like that so it was nice.

Q: Did you guys drive there or fly there?
A: We flew.

Q: How have things been since the procedure?
A: Great, I had a very good recovery I didn’t have any problems, I am very happy with the results and I would definitely do it again. It was a great experience overall.

My husband was in need of emergency surgery and both Scott and Robert were great at getting everything arranged for us. All we had to do was purchase our airfare and they handled all of the other arrangements for us. There was a tiny moment of panic upon our arrival at our destination and Scott was available to help immediately and quickly resolved the situation. He and Robert both stayed in contact with us through the whole procedure and recovery time. And they have followed up with us several times during the five weeks since his surgery. This is personal attention beyond anything I could have hoped for.
