Montelukast

Use to Prevent:
- Asthma Prophylaxis: Take one 5 or 10 mg tablet once daily in the evening.
NOTE: Not for primary treatment of acute attack.
Children’s use: Not recommended for children under five years of age. Children 5–12 years of age, administer 4 mg once daily.
Side effects and precautions: headache, fatigue, fever, GI upset, flu or cold symptoms, ear or leg pain, and thirst. Do not use during pregnancy or breast feeding.
